Right now the park is covered in a blanket of snow. The trails are being used by cross country skiers. Myself , I'm on the ice , fishing.
Chester Woods trail runs are scheduled for June 6th , with the 10 mile run starting at 8:00 AM. I am in the process of making on-line entry available. I went for a hike on the trail last fall and noticed a couple of really neat things. The park has used some kind of tiller on parts of the trails in the east meadow also they have replaced the second bridge crossing , which was damaged in the 2007 flood. I am looking forward to seeing everybody on race day and I will continue to post updates on this blog
